When it comes to the mobile experience, Smart still dominates in the latest Opensignal report for 2022. The telco won 11 out of a possible 16 awards in the latest Opensignal report which covered the period January 1 to March 31, 2022.
In their January to March 2022 report, Smart won in categories that matter most to mobile users, such as:
Fastest download speeds
As stated in the report, Smart users saw the fastest download speeds, as the telco bagged the Download Speed Experience Award with a score of 19.7 Mbps and 5G Download Speed Award with a score of 149.9 Mbps.
5G Availability and 5G Reach
Smart 5G users spent the most time connected to 5G and found a 5G signal in most locations. It scored 14.7% in 5G availability and 4.4 in 5G reach which makes the telco the outright winner for 5G mobile network.
Games and Voice App Experience
When it comes to gaming, which many Filipino love to do as a pastime, Smart becomes the outright winner for four aspects namely video experience, games experience, voice app experience, and download speed experience – all of which are the most important things for many Filipino mobile users.
As seen in the report, “Smart remains to be the operator to beat in the country,” as said by Sam Fenwick, Opensignal Senior Analyst. Smart bagged 11 out of a possible 16 awards, backed with Filipino users’ experience with the network. We’ve listed below the categories where Smart won:
